Man Up “PTSD/Prostate, ALT approach”
(by, D.E.PateIV)
The prostate affects the quality of the sperm-as it affects the quality of baby making and the amount of pleasure achieved for both man and woman. Such a state of healthiness we find is achieved by following a Holistic Healing Plan that includes, but is not limited to the following elements:…fresh fruit, fresh vegetables, plenty water, herb teas, vitamins and minerals, especially Saw Palmetto, Comfrey, Cayenne, Golden Seal, Garlic, Lemons, Damiana and Uva Ursi!
Some conventional therapies for PTSD (e.g., cognitive behavioral therapies [CBT]) include elements that are consistent with (e.g., complementary alternative medicine [CAM]) approaches. They are not considered to be CAM herein because CBT has a separate and well-developed basis in cognitive and behavioral theories. The CAM techniques that are used in CBT (e.g., relaxation, mindfulness) are conceptualized as supporting cognitive-behavioral mechanisms as opposed to operating on their own to create change. For example, relaxation may be used during exposure-based treatment for PTSD to manage arousal, thereby helping the patient to tolerate the exposure, which is believed to be the major change agent.
